Meet Jay Fletcher

Founder/President
Beacon Ministry Solutions Group

Jay Fletcher is the Founder and President of Beacon Ministry Solutions Group, an organization born from his deep passion for the local church. Through Beacon, Jay helps churches develop systems and strategies to effectively fulfill the Great Commission within their unique context.

Jay currently serves as the Groups Pastor at Broadmoor Baptist Church. He brings over 30 years of experience in local church ministry, corporate chaplaincy, and non-profit leadership, including his previous role as Executive Director of the Young Business Leaders of Jackson.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, with emphases in student ministry and family counseling. Over the years, Jay has served in various ministry roles, including student, college, and singles ministry, before transitioning into adult discipleship and administrative leadership as an Executive Pastor. He has led numerous discipleship and leadership development groups and continues to mentor many young ministers and business leaders throughout the Jackson area. His ministry is rooted in a passion for biblically grounded discipleship and leadership development.

Jay has been married to his wife, Nikki, for 36 years. They have two grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters and two grandsons. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Jay enjoys both playing and watching golf, along with football, baseball, and soccer. For 25 seasons, he also served as a football broadcaster for local high schools—including ten seasons at Clinton High School—and for seven seasons at Belhaven University. He recently stepped away from broadcasting to spend more time with his growing family, especially his beloved grandbabies.
